Tempy gives your account one permanent inbound email address. Mail sent to it is parsed and POSTed to the webhook URL you configure, with automatic retries while your endpoint is unavailable. It is a relay, not a mailbox: we do not store, display or forward mail beyond that delivery.
You need a confirmed email address to use Tempy. Keep your password and your signing secret to yourself — anyone holding the secret can forge a request that looks exactly like ours. What happens under your account is your responsibility.
Five sender addresses are free and stay free. A sender address is any From address that forwards mail to you, and they are detected automatically — there is nothing to configure. Mail from a sender beyond your free five is held rather than delivered until you upgrade, and dropped if the hold runs out.
Additional senders and the unlimited plan are billed monthly through Stripe and can be cancelled at any time from your billing page. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not issue partial refunds. We change prices only with notice, never in the middle of a period.
Do not use Tempy to relay spam, to point our servers at an endpoint you do not control, or to receive mail you are not entitled to. Inbound mail is limited per hour per account, and test requests and manual retries are limited too, because both send traffic from us to a URL you supply.
The service is provided as it is, without a guaranteed uptime figure. If a delivery still fails after five attempts it is marked failed and its content is purged. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk, and we will tell you why. You can leave whenever you like: stop forwarding mail and cancel any subscription from your billing page.
When these terms change we update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects you materially, we will say so by email before it takes effect.
